Hi:

Paul makes a good point.  Success in the pileups, as most know, is
determined from listening to how he is managing the pile.  Is he constantly
creeping up through, or is he sitting on a freq or is he (and some nights
this gets annoying) randomly picking out calls.  Listening before
transmitting will get you to figure this out and you will have greater
success getting through the wall.
