My vote does not count for much since I don't often go to the Friday
socials for a variety of reasons, and I don't see changing the location as
increasing my going.

I've only been to MicGinny's a few times, but I was not overly fond of it.
As you said the acoustics were bad, and the problem I had there was not the
cold, but the heat.  In the summer time it's like sitting in a
greenhouse!.
