Regarding this transition:

I would like to thank and recognize Joe Hood who taught (actually is still teaching) the RARA Extra Class: In particular, his lectures on practical circuits and circuit components.

As an engineer, but not an EE, the underlying basics required a lot of work for me to fully comprehend.  Joe Hood's lecture method provided a direction for further study for each circuit or component.  Proper follow up was needed, but, it would have been a LOT more work sorting out the direction without his lectures.  So, thanks to Joe and to RARA for the leg up.  

I learned a lot with the course of study, but, I have a long ways to go.
