All,
After a year of testing/building my antenna's with 1.4 watt output and a Bird Wattmeter (with a 5W slug for 24-30 MHZ) back and forth to my basement while tuning my 40m dipole...hoping nobody notices the 1.4 Watt intermittent carrier.....
I ordered a Rig Expert AA-54 tonight.
$294...which is $55 off what the rest of the year price is.....because I have been looking at it for 7 months.
I studied a large number of reviews and specs, and, settled on this one:
unlike the AA-30 it has memory for transfer to computer.
It is apparently pretty accurate.
So, the HRO sale ends in the not too distant future if anyone is thinking about this Antenna Analyzer. The AA-30, if you don't want to transfer graphs to computer, is costed down too.
I have no interest or relationship with HRO or Rig Expert. Just thought this was good price for a good instrument in case folks did not see it.
Mike
