Last night while doing the membership purge, I came to a screeching halt,
due to the free service server at qth.net apparently locking up.
I sent a note to Scott KA9FOX and inquired about what happened. Here is his
reply:
From: QTH.com [mailto:qth-sales at qth.com]

When I go to http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/admin/rdxa I don't get that
error.
In any event, while I am involved in QSL.net/QTH.net, I do not answer direct
support requests via my QTH.com email address. If you go to
http://mailman.qth.net, there is a "contact us" button, and that should be
used for all QSL.net/QTH.net inquiries. If RDXA wants a mailing list with
24x7 support, they should have the list on QTH.com. QSL.net/QTH.net is a
free service, and I can't do direct support like that for such a service. I
hope yo uunderstand.

Since we are using the address <mailto:rdxa at mailman.qth.net>
rdxa at mailman.qth.net for our regular reflector, and it is a free service
(which we are expected, and have in the past, sent in donations) my question
is this:
We have capability of having it on our own rdxa.com server (which we pay
for) and could have it as a separate reflector as <mailto:rdxa at rdxa.com>
rdxa at rdxa.com instead of <mailto:rdxa at mailman.qth.net>
rdxa at mailman.qth.net.
I could easily migrate it over, and it would be much easier to maintain
(and save us a donation every year, as we are due to send in one for the
freebie service.)
What say Voting Officers and BOD members ?
